SENIOR NIGHT SUCCESS
CU capped off the regular season with a 3-0 home sweep of Glenville State on Senior Night. Before the game, senior middle hitter Kyndra Pilant was recognized for her contributions to the program. In the match, Pilant led all players with nine kills and added six blocks to come within one block of Tara Braham (1995-97) for the ninth-most in program history. Sophomore middle hitter Jasmine Anderson collected seven blocks in the contest while sophomore defensive specialist Allie Davis (16) and sophomore outside hitter Meg Williams (11) chipped in double-digit digs.

REGULAR SEASON TO REMEMBER
With the win in the regular season finale, the Mountain Lions match their 16-win total from last season. However, Concord finished with a 9-6 record against MEC competition, marking the first winning record in league play since the 2001 squad posted an 8-4 record. Additionally, CU picked up a win over Fairmont State for the first time in program history and sported an 11-1 record inside the Carter Center. And added a home win over Charleston for the first time since 2016. The only blemish on the home slate came against West Virginia State, who finished first place in the MEC South Division in 2024.

WE MEET AGAIN
The Maroon and Gray will meet up against West Liberty in the MEC Quarterfinal round for the second year in a row. Last year, CU fell 3-1 to the Hilltoppers inside the Walker Convocation Center in Institute, W.Va. Williams led the way with a 13-kill, 11-dig double-double. Pilant and sophomore outside hitter Chloe Thompson paced the offense with nine kills each while Davis and sophomore setter Paige Richmond threw in two aces each. When the teams met this season, WLU claimed another 3-1 victory in the ASRC. Williams piled up 18 kills and 22 digs for another double-double and hit .240 in the match. Anderson set a new career-high with seven blocks defensively and Davis finished with 27 digs.
