Home Record: 9-11
Away Record: 2-10

RACHAEL RAKES
Sophomore outfielder/pitcher Rachael Koller hit two home runs versus Charleston on Sunday as she continued her hot streak that began on Saturday when she hit her first home run of the season and drove in three runs versus West Virginia State. In game one Sunday, Koller drove in four runs to go with her first multi-career home run game. In fact, Koller only had one career home run before the weekend, and became the first CU player with two home runs in the same game since Jenna Witt hit three versus Upper Iowa in March 2020. Freshman Lacie Lewis also smacked a home run versus Charleston, a solo shot, for her second career home run, and first since February 18.

RARE OCCURRENCES
The Mountain Lions were forced to be the road team in Athens last season when the Concord and Wheeling got together. After four innings of game one at Wheeling, heavy rain and an unplayable field on April 11 forced the teams to move to CU April 13 to complete game one followed by the second contest. The Mountain Lions swept the Cardinals, winning 12-7 in the suspended game and 9-1 in the night cap. Sophomore first baseman Kassidy Garvey homered in each end of the doubleheader as she drove in a total of five runs. Sophomore infielder Courtney Raines added a 2-for-4 effort in each game as she collected five RBI. Sophomore pitcher Caitlyn Bauer was sharp in game two as she struck out seven and gave up a run and four hits in a complete-game performance. Bauer's next strikeout will give her 200 for her career. CU has won six straight and eight of the last nine games versus Wheeling.

ALL THE WAY TO THE END
Six of the last 10 games between Concord and West Liberty have been decided by a run with two of those going to extra innings. Graduate infielder Sarah Thompson tied her season high with four RBI in a 7-6 loss in game two at WLU last season. The last time CU hosted the Hilltoppers in Athens resulted in West Liberty wins, 2-1 and 5-4, with the latter going to nine innings. Concord surrendered all seven runs to WLU in the sixth inning and later as the Mountain Lions led in each contest.

WHEELING AT A GLANCE
Overall Record: 6-26
MEC Record: 4-10
Home Record: 5-1
Away Record: 0-6
Neutral Record: 1-9

SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
Jenna Hollerich leads Wheeling in RBI (20) despite only having five extra-base hits. The Cardinals' team batting average of .259 is sixth in the conference. WU has a team ERA of 8.16 which ranks last in the MEC. The four league wins for Wheeling came in the way of doubleheader sweeps over Alderson Broaddus and West Virginia State.

WEST LIBERTY AT A GLANCE
Overall Record: 10-24
MEC Record: 6-8
Home Record: 5-7
Away Record: 5-12
Neutral Record: 0-5

SCOUTING THE HILLTOPPERS
A core group of players that produced three consecutive 35-win seasons has graduated as West Liberty is in rebuild mode this season. Veteran infielder Riley Conkle bats .344 this season and is top five in the MEC in doubles with 10. With the departure of standout pitchers Mackenzie Amend and Annie Patterson, the quartet of Leah Alford, Madison Angus, Brooke Perri and Ashlyn Tapman have shouldered the work for WLU as all four have pitched at least 35 innings.
