SENIOR SENDOFF
Prior to Sunday's contest, head coach
Luke Duffy and the program will recognize five players on Senior Day: goalkeeper
Savannah Bates, defender
Sophie Clutter, defender
Jordyn Dansby-Ross, forward
Kylene Franklin and forward
Alexa Todd. Dansby-Ross and Todd are transfers from Glenville State and Lees-McRae, respectively. Dansby-Ross has appeared in 50 games between GSU and CU as she picked up her first career assist earlier this season. Todd has played in 70 career games dating back to the 2018 season. She has scored 18 goals and collected 14 assists in her career, including two goals and four assists this year. Â Bates, Franklin and Clutter have been on some of the most successful Concord teams as the Mountain Lions have amassed 46 wins since 2020. Bates earned a solo shutout last season at Chowan. Franklin has found the back of the net three times in 25 career games while adding three assists. Clutter has appeared in four career games, and tallied her first career goal versus Fairmont State earlier this year.
POTENT OFFENSE
Despite being held to one goal in the loss at Frostburg State, Concord is tied for second nationally in goals scored with 37. Catawba has tallied 44 goals this fall with CU and Belmont Abbey tied for second. The scoring barrage has come even with no Mountain Lion scoring more than junior forward
Sydney Tucker's six goals. Graduate defender
Olivia Bekeleski has scored in three of her last four games, and is now tied for second on the team in goals with four, even with freshman midfielder
Wilma Hedenberg. Salem has allowed 70 goals this season, an average of 7.7 per game, and there's only been two games where the Tigers have allowed five or less.
REPEAT PERFORMANCE
Sunday marks the second straight year that CU hosts West Liberty on Senior Day. Last season, the Mountain Lions cruised to a 7-0 win over West Liberty, the largest margin of victory in 15 all-time meetings. Graduate midfielder
Michelle Brogden scored twice in the game with junior midfielder
Leah Fleming adding an assist on a 64
th minute goal. The Maroon and Gray owned a 26-2 advantage in total shots in the game. Concord peppered the goal with 15 shots on frame.

SCOUTING THE HILLTOPPERS
WLU is one win away from matching its total from last fall when it went 5-12-1. The Hilltoppers are coming off perhaps their most impressive win of the season, a 2-1 victory at West Virginia State. Morgan Kost poked in both goals at WVSU and now has a team-best six in 2023. Amelia Compston follows behind with five goals and a team-high three assists.
