ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord University head men's and women's cross country and track & field coach
Mike Cox has announced the signings of Emma Jenkins and Emma Londeree for the 2022 recruiting class.
Name: Emma Jenkins
Hometown: Ona, West Virginia
High School: Cabell Midland
About Emma: In a loaded Class AAA field, Jenkins was First Team All-State during her senior season of cross country as she finished fifth at the Class AAA State Championship in a time of 19:41 for 5,000-meters. In all, Jenkins has been a three-time First Team All-State selection after finishing seventh as both a freshman and sophomore in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Jenkins' fastest time on the cross country course in high school was 19:14. Jenkins earned all-state in the 3,2000-meter run on the track as a freshman as she finished sixth in a time of 11:25.02. She owns personal-best times of 2:27.96 (800-meters), 5:11.39 (1,600-meters) and 11:17.17 (3,200-meters).

Hometown: Barboursville, West Virginia
High School: Cabell Midland
About Emma: On the cross country course, Londeree was a First Team All-Mountain State Athletic Conference as a junior after making the second team as a sophomore in 2019. Her fastest 5,000-meter time for cross country came during her all-conference season in 2019 when she ran 21:26 at the MSAC Championship. She owns a time of 1:06.55 for the 400-meter dash and 2:40.25 for the 800-meter dash. Â
