In last week's defeat at UVa.-Wise, freshman outside hitter
Hannah Steele recorded her first career double-double in just her seventh match as she finished with 12 kills and 11 digs. In her just second career start, freshman defensive specialist
Kaylee Spees rolled up 22 digs, a career high, versus the Cavaliers. Spees is the first freshman with 20 or more digs in a game since
Lindsay Maddox in 2017 when she collected 29 against West Liberty. Meanwhile, Steele is the first CU freshman with a double-double since Alexi Pranckus had nine in 2015. In terms of blocks, Concord is third in the MEC with 1.90 per set led by Hall's 0.88 blocks per set.
