West Virginia State has won six of the last eight contests to sport the same 6-5 record as CU.
Charleston is the only undefeated team in the MEC at 12-0 and is ranked third in Division II.
THREE-POINT POWER
In the win over Davis & Elkins, the Mountain Lions canned 11 three-pointers which was one off their season high of 12 set at home against Frostburg State. Freshman guard
Jaisah Smith led the three-point barrage as she knocked in a career-best four three-pointers on just five attempts. Fellow freshman guard
Maddie Ratcliff hit two three-pointers in a game for the first time in her career while senior guard
Keely Lundy hit on two three-pointers to move within four three-pointers of tying Blaire Hamric for 10
th on the program's all-time three-point list at 108. CU hit 10 or more three pointers for the second time this season. Over the two previous seasons, Concord had hit 10 or more three-pointers in a game just three times.
HOME COOKIN'
With the win over Davis & Elkins, the Mountain Lions extended their home winning streak to 16 consecutive games which is the seventh-longest active streak in Division II. Lubbock Christian has the longest home winning streak at 86 straight games with CU's being the longest active in the MEC and second-longest in the Atlantic Region behind Bowie State's 17 straight home victories. However, on Saturday, the streak will face its toughest test to date when Concord welcomes in Charleston to the Carter Center. It will be the first ranked foe CU has played since No. 13 Glenville State December 5, 2017. The average winning margin for Concord during its home winning streak is 18.6 with eight wins coming by 20 or more points.
DYNAMIC DUOS
In Concord's recent run of games, two pairs of players have been key to the success of the Mountain Lions. The point guard tandem of starter and junior
Gracie Robinson and sophomore backup
Ashton Funderburg. In the last three games, Robinson has dished out 11 assists and committed just three turnovers, including a season-best six assists with no turnovers against Davis & Elkins. The Wytheville, Virginia native also harassed one of the premier scorers in the MEC, Notre Dame's Jada Marone, into 4-of-17 shooting. Meanwhile, Funderburg has stood in to take seven charges in the last seven games including two more against Davis & Elkins. Additionally, when the Sevierville, Tennessee native was on the floor the last three games, CU outscored opponents by 42 points. The other pair of Mountain Lions to be pivotal are Ratcliff and Smith. The freshmen guards are combining to average 17.7 points per game which is the second-highest in the MEC for freshmen behind Fairmont State's Alyssa DeAngelo and Jalen Gibbs at 20.3 points per game. On Saturday, Ratcliff tied a career high with 18 points while Smith's 14 points were two shy of a career best.

POINTS AT A PREMIUM
Concord and Charleston are not only two of the best defenses in the MEC, but the teams are two of the best in Division II. Charleston leads the MEC, allowing just 61.9 points per game. CU's overall field-goal percentage defense of 33.0 ranks 11
th in Division II. While Concord does it with lockdown halfcourt defense, UC is pressuring opponents into 11.5 steals per game, 18
th in Division II. Additionally, Charleston forced CU into 25 turnovers and collected 12 steals in the first meeting, but Concord held the Golden Eagles to 37.3 percent shooting in a 69-56 loss.
