BECKLEY, W.Va. – The Concord University men's soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision to Notre Dame at the Cline Complex Sunday afternoon in Mountain East Conference action.
The Mountain Lions (2-6-1, 2-4-1 MEC) played the Falcons (8-2, 6-2 MEC), who are nationally-ranked 16
th, tough in the first half, allowing just one goal.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Kyle Brown had four saves in the first 45 minutes to keep the deficit at 1-0 for CU.
Notre Dame netted two goals a minute apart in the second half to stretch its lead out to 3-0 in the 59
th minute, and added two more second-half goals.
Brown made eight totals saves in the contest. Junior goalkeeper
Bryce Deeringer made two stops in the final 15 minutes of the game.
Freshman defender
Jakob Dorn, sophomore midfielder Maximie Ramioulle and junior forward
Max Suckel had one shot on goals for the Mountain Lions.
