Pearce also set a personal-best with 69 yards.

PITCHING A SHUTOUT
Last season, the Mountain Lions picked up a 7-0 home win over UVa.-Wise as the game's only touchdown was scored by All-American and former Concord standout

It represented the first time Concord had shut out an opponent since the 2007 season when it accomplished the feat against UNC-Pembroke in a 10-0 win.
Against UVa.-Wise, the Mountain Lions racked 10 sacks which was the second-most in a single game last season across all of Division II and the most in MEC history.
Noble accounted for three of the sacks.
