ATHENS, W.Va. - The Concord University women's basketball team will look to stop a brief two-game losing streak as it welcomes Shepherd to the Carter Center 5:30 p.m. Thursday before hosting Fairmont State 2:00 p.m. Saturday for its annual Pink Game.

RECORDS
 Concord is 11-10 this season and sports a 7-9 mark in the Mountain East Conference.
Shepherd is 10-12 overall and has a 6-10 record against league foes.
Fairmont State is 11-11 and is tied with Shepherd at 6-10 in the MEC.
BLOCK PARTY
Freshman forward
Riley Fitzwater blocked 11 shots over CU's road trip against West Liberty and Wheeling Jesuit including eight blocks at West Liberty.
The Glenville, West Virginia native set the single-season school for blocks and now has 78 in 2017-18.
The old record was held by CU Hall of Fame member Jolysa Brown who had 73 blocks during the 2010-11 season.
Additionally, Fitzwater already ranks third in school history in career blocked shots despite only play 21 collegiate games.
Fitzwater leads the MEC with 3.7 blocks per game.
SPREADING THE WEALTH
Senior guard
Lindsey Overbey netted a career-high 28 points on 12-for-17 shooting at West Liberty.
It bested Overbey's career high by six points when the Gate City, Virginia native poured in 22 points January 30, 2016 against Shepherd.
Additionally, Overbey is the fourth Concord player to score 20 or more points this season--only Glenville State has players that have recorded at least one 20-point contest this season.
On its roadtrip, Concord had six different players score in double figures.
At Wheeling Jesuit, sophomore
Madison May led the scoring with 20 points while junior guard
Emily Boothe (13 points), junior guard
Andreanna Pool (12 points) and Fitzwater (11 points) all had at least 10 points.
At West Liberty, senior forward
Heather Chapman Fitzwater, May, Overbey and Pool were all in double figures.
HOME SWEET HOME
Heading into Thursday's contest, the Mountain Lions are 6-1 at home this season with its only loss coming to Glenville State who has yet to lose an MEC game this year.
The last time Concord won more than five games at home was during the 2011-121 season when CU was 12-2 inside the Carter Center.
In the Mountain Lions' six wins, they have defeated opponents by average of 16.3 points with three of the wins coming by at least 16 points.
As a team shooting, Concord is 51.6 percent (199-for-376) from the field in six home wins.
Meanwhile, in 12 true road games CU has played it is shooting 44.8 percent (350-for-781) from the field.
MAKING THE MOST
Although Concord has the second-fewest made three-pointers in the conference wtih 103, the Mountain Lions rank fourth in the MEC in three-point percentage at 33.9.
After having trouble from behind the arc to start the season, CU has shot 40 percent or better from three-point range in seven of the last ten games including a season-best 60 percent (6-for-10) at Wheeling Jesuit.
During the 10-game span, Concord's two best shooter from three-point range have excelled.
Boothe has knocked down 16-of-30 shots from distance for 53.3 percent while senior guard
Danielle Catron has shot 41.4 percent (17-for-41) from three-point range in the last ten games.
THE RIGHT TIME
Concord will be seeking its third straight home win over Shepherd after defeating the Rams 90-86 two seasons and edging out a 72-69 win last season in Athens.
Catron and Overbey have excelled against SU at the Carter Center.
Catron has averaged 16 points per game and shot 61.9 percent (13-for-21) in her last two home games against SU.
Meanwhile, Overbey has averaged 15.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in the same two games while shooting 52.1 percent (12-for-23) in those contests.
ONE AND DONE
The first time Concord met Shepherd this season the Mountain Lions surrendered 23 second-chance points in a 78-66 loss.
It was the highest number of second-chance points given up by CU this season.
Concord ranks fifth in the MEC in defensive rebounding percentage, grabbing 69.9 percent of its opponents' misses while Shepherd is 10th in offensive rebounding percentage, pulling down just 28.7 percent of its missed shots.
SHEPHERD AT A GLANCE
Shepherd possess the second-best scorer in the MEC in Morgan Arden. The senior guard is scoring 22.0 points per game and dropped 40 points on Concord in January.
Arden is scoring exactly 33 percent of Shepherd's 66 points per game.
The Rams are third in the conference in shooting three-point at 34.9 percent.
Kayla Tibbs is the only other Shepherd player in double figures at 10.6 points per game.
Kari Lankford has filled up the stat sheet all season, averaging 9.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
FAIRMONT STATE AT A GLANCE
Along with Concord's Fitzwater, FSU freshman Sierra Kotchman is having a stellar rooke campaign in the MEC, averaging 18.9 points per game.
Kelli Jo Harrison is averaging near a double-double with 9.8 points and 9.9 rebounds per contest.
FSU is one of three teams in the conference along with Concord and Charleston that limiting opponents to less than 40 percent from the field.
The Fighting Falcons have just one MEC road win this season, at Wheeling Jesuit.
