URBANA, Ohio – The Concord University men's soccer team fell 2-1 to Urbana Wednesday afternoon in a Mountain East Conference game at UU Stadium.
Urbana (9-5-3, 8-3-3 MEC) scored in the first 15 minutes of the match to go up 1-0 on the Mountain Lions (4-11-1, 4-9-1 MEC).

Kyle Brown was forced to make a trio of saves from the 14
th to the 20
th minutes to keep Concord down 1-0.
With Brown's work and a goal before halftime, CU tied the contest at the intermission. Sophomore defender
Alec Yost scored his first collegiate goal on an assist from sophomore midfielder
Maxime Ramioulle in the 37
th minute.
The first shot for either team in the second half resulted in a goal for the Blue Knights as they took a 2-1 edge in the 54
th minute.

Moulay Hassani had a shot saved in the 63
rd minute. The Casablanca, Morocco native had another chance in the 83
rd minute that went high of the net.
The final attempt for Concord came in the 88
th minute as junior goalkeeper
Ching Lokus Au, who was playing the field, had his shot turned away by Urbana goalkeeper Jakob Henriksen.
Brown made six saves in the contest to move into second on the all-time saves list at Concord.
Freshman defender
Adrian Cabello had a shot on goal along with Hassani, Lokus and Yost.
CU concludes the regular season when it welcomes Charleston to Anderson Field 3:30 p.m. Sunday. It will be Senior Day for the Mountain Lions as they honor
Xander Bailey and
Matt Henderson.
