FSU is 5-6 and is just 1-5 in the MEC.
LONG TIME COMING
In CU's 88-68 win over West Virginia Wesleyan, sophomore forward
Madison May poured in 30 points, becoming the first Concord player to score 30 points in a game in nearly four years.
Rachel Artrip was the last player to do it in February 2014.
May also added a double-double with 11 rebounds to go along with 30 points.
The Athens, West Virginia native was the first Mountain Lion with 30 points and a double-double since Andrea Bertrand in January 2013.
Entering 2018, May has scored at least 20 points in three straight games and is fifth in the MEC in points per game at 18.1 points per game.

It was the most assists for CU this season and the most since December 3, 2015 against Glenville State.
In her first start of the season, junior guard
Emily Boothe handed out six assists while May matched Boothe with six assists of her own.
Senior guard
Lindsey Overbey distributed five assists. In the last three games, CU has racked up 61 assists and has at least 15 in each contest.

THE TREK TOWARDS 1K
Senior guard

Catron would become the 16th player in program history to reach the milestone.
In her career, Catron is averaging 11.2 points per game versus Shepherd and 7.7 points per game against Fairmont State.
After facing SU and the Fighting Falcons, Concord will host Wheeling Jesuit and West Liberty where Catron would have a chance to surpass 1,000 points in front of the Carter Center crowd if she does not accomplish the feat on the road.
The Marion, Virginia native is averaging 12.3 points per game this season, and has scored at least 15 points in each of the last three contests and has reached double figures in six of nine game in 2017-18.

At the Christmas break, Fitzwater leads the conference in field goal percentage (73.9 / 51-for-69), rebounds per game (11.4), blocks per game (2.7) and is tied for the league lead in double-doubles with five.
No other player in the MEC leads multiple statistical categories.
FINDING THE RANGE

Boothe paced the three-point shooting versus GSC by draining 3-of-4 attempts with Catron adding two three-pointers on five shots.
