CU has won six of its last seven games and owns an overall record of 10-8.

HOT SHOT
The Mountain Lions shot 58.6 percent (34-for-58) from the field in an 83-67 win over West Virginia Wesleyan Saturday in Mountain East Conference.

It was the third time in the last four games and the sixth time this season that CU has shot at least 50 percent from the field. Additionally, the 58.6 percent shooting matched Concord's numbers from the first meeting this with Wesleyan for the season high in field goal percentage.

Six of the eight Concord players that saw the floor against WVWC shot at least 50 percent from the field led by freshman forward
Riley Fitzwater who was 7-for-9 from the field (77.8 percent) and senior guard
Danielle Catron who knocked down 72.7 percent of her shots (8-for-11).

LIMITATIONS
While Concord leads the MEC in field goal percentage offense, the Maroon and Gray is also near the top of the league in the field goal defense.

CU has held its opponents to 37.9 percent shooting during the 2017-18.

In the last seven games, Concord has held its opposition to under 35 percent on five occasions.

HELPING OUT
The Mountain Lions recorded 21 assists on 34 made field goals in their win over Wesleyan. It was the fourth time this season that CU has gone over 20 assists in a contest.

Junior guard
Andreanna Pool led the way with a career-best eight assists versus the Bobcats. Over her last five games, the Durham, North Carolina native has tallied five or more assists in three games.

Fellow junior guard
Emily Boothe added seven assists, matching both a career and season high in assists.

Meanwhile, sophomore
Madison May handed out five assists in the game.

UTILITY WORK
Over the last four games, Boothe has stuffed the box score for the Mountain Lions as she has contributed in a variety of ways.

In those four contests, Boothe has averaged 11.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game while scoring in double figures in all four games—the longest stretch with 10 or more points in consecutive games since last January when she scored double figures in seven straight contests.

SIX STRAIGHT
Concord will be seeking its sixth straight win over its Mercer Country rival in Bluefield State.

In the previous five games, the Mountain Lions have won by an average of 25.6 points, including a 108-70 win at the Carter Center November 15.

Catron is averaging 17 points per game in her career against Bluefield State including going for 25 points in an 81-60 victory last season at home.

Earlier this season, Catron scored 23 points to lead Concord over Bluefield State. May added 21 points, and Pool pitched in 13.

The Mountain Lions forced a season-high 19 turnovers, and held BSC to 30 percent (18-for-60) shooting for the contest.
