RECORDS
CU is 9-7 overall and has a 6-6 mark in the Mountain East Conference.

Glenville State is ranked 13th in the nation with a record of 17-1 and an unblemished MEC record of 12-0.

West Virginia Weslayan is 5-13 this season and 3-9 against conference foes.

NAIL BITERS
Concord was able to build their win streak to five games with a 75-70 victory over Charleston before charging back from an eight-point halftime deficit to down UVa.-Wise 67-64 on the road.

The win streak is the longest for the Mountain Lions since they rattled off seven straight victories at the end of the 2011-2012 season.

With the two narrow wins last week, CU improves to 4-1 in 2017-18 in games decided by six points or less with three of the wins coming during the five-game win streak.

Additionally, CU has also limited Wheeling Jesuit, West Liberty, Salem International, Charleston and UVa.-Wise to less than 45 percent shooting in each game during the win streak.

MIDDLE SPURTS
Last week's two wins were also thanks in part to two mid-game surges by the Maroon and Gray.

Down three points to Charleston after 10 minutes, Concord outscored the Golden Eagles 26-8 to take a 15 points lead into halftime before hanging on to win.

In the 26-point second quarter, the CU frontcourt of senior Heather Chapman, freshman Riley Fitzwater and sophomore Madison May combined for 21 points.

In the second quarters of games this season, the Mountain Lions own a +22-point differential (292-270).

Meanwhile at UVa.-Wise, Concord bested the Cavaliers in the third quarter 25-16 to grab a one-point lead heading to the fourth quarter.

May supplied 11 of her 18 points during the third quarter to aid the surge.

DOWN THE STRETCH
During Concord's win streak, it has excelled defensively during the fourth quarter of three games.

In win over Charleston, Wheeling Jesuit and UVa.-Wise, Concord has combined to hold those teams to 41.6 percent (20-for-48) from the field in the fourth quarter.

Conversely, CU has shot 48.7 percent (20-for-41) from the floor in the final 10 minutes in the three games.

Additionally, the Mountain Lions outrebounded the three teams by a combined 33-21.

The win streak has been a complete team streak with seemingly stepping up in the most critical moments.

At UVa.-Wise, senior guard Lindsey Overbey came through with nine fourth-quarter points while junior guard Emily Boothe pitched in six points.

Against Charleston, Chapman scored six fourth-quarter points.

HIGH WATER MARK
At 9-7, this is the first time Concord has had a winning record through 15 games since 2013-14 when they were 8-7 after a win over UVa.-Wise.

The last time CU had a chance to win its 10th game before losing its 10th game of the season was during the 2011-2012.

During that specific season, the Mountain Lions won their 10th game January 12.

PICK POCKETS
In the win at UVa.-Wise, the Mountain Lions came up with their second-highest number of steals this season with 10 swipes.

Junior guard Andreanna Pool recorded a team-best three steals.

Boothe and freshman guard Keely Lundy each added two steals while Chapman and Overbey each had one.

With her two steals at UVa.-Wise, Boothe moved into a tie for 20th in all-time steals at Concord with 90, equaling her with her former teammate Alexis Lowery.

INDIVIDUAL EFFORT
While the Mountain Lions haven't defeated Glenville State since December 2014, senior guard Danielle Catron has posted good numbers versus GSC.

In her career, the Marion, Virginia native is averaging 11.2 points per game and shooting 46.1 percent (36-for-78) from the field against the Pioneers in seven career meetings.

Catron posted a personal best 18 points on 7-for-13 shooting in the first meeting this season.

RIPPING THE NETS
CU will be looking to down West Virginia Wesleyan twice this season after defeating the Bobcats 88-68 at the Rockefeller center on December 9.

May poured in a career-high 30 points and added a double-double of 11 rebounds.

Catron, Fitzwater and Overbey each added 15 points as the Mountain Lions shot 58.6 percent (34-for-58) in the contest.

Concord posted a season-high 25 assists in the game.

Boothe and May each had six assists while Overbey added five.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
7- The last three home meetings with Wesleyan--all CU win--have been decided by a combined seven points.

13-  Concord has had at least one double-digit rebound in 13 of its 16 games this season.

50- CU shot 50 percent from three-point range (6-for-12) in the first game with WVWC this season.

GLENVILLE STATE AT A GLANCE

Reigning MEC Player of the Year Paris McLeod leads GSC in scoring (19.1) and hands out 4.5 assists per game.
