RECORDS
CU enters the games with a 7-7 overall mark and a 4-6 record in the Mountain East Conference.

Charleston has compiled an overall record of 8-7 overall and 5-5 in the league.

UVa.-Wise is 3-12 this season and 2-8 in the MEC.

WIN STREAK
After losing consecutive road games to start 2018, Concord has rebounded to win its last three games with victories over Wheeling Jesuit, West Liberty and--the latest win in non-conference action--at Salem International Monday.

CU has won three straight games for the first time since 2014 when it knocked off Urbana, Glenville State and West Virginia Weslayan from November 24-December 7 during the 2014-2015 season.

While Concord has been averaging 80 points in its last three contests, the Mountain Lions have gotten it done at the defensive end as they limited the three teams to 33.4 percent (72-for-215) from the field, gobbled up 36.6 defensive rebounds per contest and blocked 9.3 shots per game.

Reigning MEC Player of the Week Riley Fitzwater helped lead the charge for CU on the defensive end as she averaged 18.5 points, 19.5 rebounds and 8.5 blocks per game versus West Liberty and Wheeling Jesuit.

TRIPLE THREAT
In Monday's victory at Salem International, Concord poured in 12 three-pointers as a team.

Senior guard Lindsey Overbey led the charge with a career-high four three-pointers.

Senior guard Danielle Catron made the first triple of the game for CU for her 1,000th point and added two more in the contest.

Junior guards Emily Boothe and Andreanna Pool each added multiple makes from three-point range in the contest.

For Catron, she becomes the 16th player in program to reach 1,000 points for her career and needs 11 points to move past Amber Showalter for 15th on the all-time scoring list.

Of Overbey's nine made three-pointers this season, seven of them have come in two games.

The Gate City, Virginia native knocked in three three-pointers against West Virginia Wesleyan earlier this season.

As a team, the 12 successful three-pointers were the most since January 12, 2016 at Urbana when they hit 13.

THREE'S COMPANY
While the Mountain Lions have found their stroke from three-point range over the last three games, going 19-for-42 or 45.2 percent--14 points higher than their season average--the forward trio of senior Heather Chapman, Fitzwater and sophomore Madison May have continued to help balance the floor.

During CU's three-game winning streak, the trio has combined to average 47.2 points per game, combined for seven double-digit scoring games out of a possible nine and is shooting 53.6 percent (52-for-97) from the field.

Against West Liberty, May poured in 27 points--her fifth time scoring at least 20 points this season.

In Thursday's win over Wheeling Jesuit, Fitzwater notched her second 20-20 game of the season with 22 points and 26 rebounds.

In Monday's victory, Chapman registered the most points since the second game of the season with 16 at Salem International.

PROTECT THIS HOUSE
Home teams in the MEC this season have been overwhelmingly dominant.

If one were to discount the road wins that Glenville State has (the Pioneers are undefeated in the league), and also take away the road losses by teams at Glenville State, the rest of the conference is 10-38, a winning percentage of .208, in road games this season when they face MEC opposition.

Besides GSC, just two teams have winning records on the road--not counting losses to Glenville State.

Notre Dame and Urbana are both 2-1.

The Mountain Lions have just one road win in MEC play, at West Virginia Wesleyan, but their only home loss this season came to Glenville State.

LEAVE NO DOUBT
During Concord's three-game winning streak, two wins have been by comfortable margins.

The Mountain Lions defeated West Liberty by 27 points and beat Salem International by 20 points.

Overall, CU has four wins by 20 or more points in 2017-18.

The last time the Maroon and Gray had this many wins by 20 or more points was during the 2011-12 season when it won seven games by at least 20 points.

LIGHT IT UP
When Concord and UVa.-Wise got together the first time last season, the Mountain Lions were edged 97-91.

Catron scored 18 points and Boothe added 13 points and seven rebounds.

At the time, the 91 points represented a single-season high for CU.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
4- Concord has four players averaging double figures, one of two teams in the league to do so.

7- Number of lead changes between Concord and Charleston earlier this season.

57-  Boothe is shooting 57.1 percent (8-for-14) from three-point range since the start of January.

CHARLESTON AT A GLANCE
Charleston defeated Concord earlier this season by a score of 78-63 as the Golden Eagles limited CU to 38 percent shooting in the contest.

UC and Concord possess the first and second best field goal defenses in the MEC as the Golden Eagles limit teams to 36.7 percent shooting. Concord is holding team to 38.0 percent shooting.

On Saturday, Charleston held Glenville State's potented attack to 30 points less than it season average in a 69-63 defeat.

Octavia Loll is the leading scorer for UC at 13.3 points per game.

UVA.-WISE AT A GLANCE
UVa.-Wise snapped a six-game losing streak by outlasting Wheeling Jesuit in overtime 92-81 Saturday.

The Cavaliers are guided by first-year head coach Elise Clyburn who was an assistant at UVa.-Wise previously.

Cynita Webb is averaging near a double-double for the Cavaliers with 10.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per contest.
