RECORDS
CU is 2-8 overall and 1-8 versus MEC foes.

Urbana enters the matchup with a record of 4-6 and 3-6 in the conference.

ENTERING RARE COMPANY
Junior Zach Malone notched 12 tackles in last week's game against Fairmont State.

It was the 11th time in the last two seasons Malone had recorded 10 or more tackles in a game, and was the sixth instance this season.

Malone entered the top 10 in all-time tackles at Concord and now has 222 stops in his career.

The Charleston, West Virginia native leapfrogged Austin Dotson and Ervin Moore to move into ninth in all-time tackles.

Additionally, Malone has 96 tackles this season and is seeking back-to-back seasons with 100 or more tackles. Last season, CU's middle linebacker had 108 stops.

Only three other Mountain Lions have had multiple seasons of 100 tackles: Jake Lilly (2011, 2012 and 2013), Mike Spradling (1990 and 1992) and Darryl Wilson (1992 and 1995).

ROAD WARRIORS
Though Concord will be seeking its first road win of the season at Urbana, some Mountain Lions have excelled away from Callaghan Stadiumt this year--particularly over the last two road contests.

Junior linebacker Andrew Jakubowsky tallied a career-best 11 tackles two weeks ago at West Liberty.

Of Jakubowsky's 47 tackles on the season, 20 of those have come in the last two road games--at WLU and at Glenville State.

Sophomore defensive lineman Ryan Gatrell had his first career sack at West Liberty and came away with a personal-high five tackles at Glenville State that also included a tackle for loss.

Offensively, sophomore running back JaVaughan Burrus rushed for a career-high 87 yards on just eight career at West LIberty while his only touchdown of the season came at GSC.

TAKING CARE OF THE ROCK
Through seven games in his Concord career, freshman quarterback Adam Fulton has thrown just seven interceptions in 198 attempts.

The Knoxville, Tennessee native is averaging an interception every 28.1 attempts.

Of those ranked in the top 10 in fewest interceptions in school history, Fulton is fourth in terms of attempt to interception ratio.

Evan Dusold had just one pick in 180 attempts, Zack Grossi averaged an interception thrown in every 31.2 dropbacks and Steve Hearons had a pass picked off every 30.1 attempts.

By throwing one of fewer interceptions at UU, Fulton would finish top 10 in a single-season for interceptions thrown in program history.

SINGLE-SEASON RECORD WATCH
In addition to Fulton's low interception rate and Malone's tackles, here's a look at some other single-season records to watch.

With three more touchdown passes, Fulton can enter the top 10 all-time at Concord with 13 touchdown passes in a single season.

If redshirt freshman defensive back Jonathan Roebuck were to intercept a pass and run it back two or more yards, he would be the fifth player in program history with 100 yards in interception returns in a single season.

Roebuck and Travis Preston during the 2000 season are the only two CU players to have two touchdowns on interceptions in a single season.

Freshman wide receiver Tywan Pearce needs 42 yards to join the top five in single-season kick return yards. Pearce has amassed 537 yards this season.

Senior punter Garrett Lee needs to hit his season average of 43.4 yards on punts to break his own single-season average of 43.3. Lee's average of 43.4 on punts in 2017 is tops in the MEC and also ranks fourth in Division II.

Additionally, if Lee touches down a punt inside the 20-yard line it would be his 20th of the season. Only Zach Boyd and Brad Cox have 20 or more punts inside the 20-yard line in a single season.

STRENGTH ON STRENGTH
Urbana possesses one of the most dangerous return men in the league in Trevon Saunders.

The veteran wide receiver and returner is averaging 25.4 yards per kickoff return and 17.8 yards per punt return.

Saunders has a 87-yard punt return for a touchdown and a 100-yard kickoff return for a score this season.

However, CU is third in the net punting in the conference at 35.8. Of Lee's 62 punts this season, only 14 have been returned, and seven of those have resulted in non-positive yardage or a turnover.

Although senior kicker Zack Keaton only has three touchbacks this season, the Pembroke, Virginia native and his kickoff coverage has allowed the fewest return yards of all MEC teams.

Opponents only have 404 kickoff return yards against Concord this season, an average of 40.4  yards per contest.

To put it perspective, the next closest team, West Liberty, is allowing 56.9 yards in kickoff returns per game.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
5- Concord has started the same five offensive linemen this seaosn: senior Chris Norman, junior Derek Dressler, junior Jack Skidmore, redshirt freshman Nathan Toney and freshman Eric Festa.

41- Career-long reception hauled in by sophomore wide receiver Brandon Plyler last week.

202- Yards Concord held Urbana to in its meeting two years ago in central Ohio.

URBANA AT A GLANCE
In addition to his role as a special teams star, Saunders has 46 catches for 693 yards and seven touchdowns this season as a wide receiver.

Saunders is third in the conference in receiving yards while Rodell Rahmaan is second in the MEC in touchdown receptions with 11.

Quarterback Tajuan Green is the reigning MEC Offensive Player of the Week after accounting for 366 total yards and four passing touchdowns as UU outscored West Virginia State 30-6 in the fourth quarter for a 36-35 road win.

Urbana has now won its most game since the first season of the MEC in 2013 when it won seven games.

Mikal Toliver is second in the conference in sacks with 10.5.

Duray Hall has added seven sacks this season and sits third in the MEC in total tackles with 92, right behind CU's Malone with 96.
