ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer team returns to Anderson Field after a long road trip as it plays the University of Charleston 1:00 p.m. Sunday.

RECORDS
CU is 5-6 overall this season and 3-6 in the MEC.
Charleston sports a record 3-4-4 and is 2-3-4 against MEC foes.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
Sunday will be just the third time Concord has played at home this season.
The Mountain Lions have played four straight road games at Urbana, Shepherd, Wheeling Jesuit and Fairmont State.
Over the last four contests, Concord has been road warriors with the total mileage adding up to 2,080 over the last two weeks.
To put it in perspective, if Concord left campus and headed west 2,080 miles would put them just west of Phoenix, Arizona.
The Maroon and Gray went 2-2 on its road trip as it defeated UU and Wheeling Jesuit, and falling by one goal each to Shepherd and Fairmont State.

Pilar Elias scored her third goal of the season while freshman midfielder
Yasmin Mosby added her second career goal.
For Elias, it was 10
th career goal at Concord. Additionally, she is one score away from matching her season total from last year.
Elias is ranked within the top five in the MEC in assists and total points. Elias is in a tie for fifth in the league in assists with three and is also fifth in points with nine.
Freshman forward
Sarah Hill trails only Notre Dame's Jackie Corrigan for total goals. Hill has five versus six for Corrigan. The Somerset, England native is tied for second in points with 11.
Meanwhile, freshman midfielder
Courtney Wallace is tied with Elias for assists in the league.
CU is 1-1 at home this season with a 1-0 win over West Liberty and a 3-0 loss to West Virginia Wesleyan.
Senior midfielder
Micharae Thompson scored for the Mountain Lions versus West Liberty.
The first matchup between Concord and Charleston was a defensive battle as the Golden Eagles edged out a 1-0 victory.
CU outshot Charleston 6-4 in the match. Hill notched three shots on goal for the Mountain Lions.
In 2017, Concord has either matched or outshot its opponent in nine of 11 games.
Freshman goalkeeper
Katie Maher saved three of four shots that came her against UC on the road September 8.
CHARLESTON AT A GLANCE
UC has not won a game since September 22 when it defeated Ashland, 2-1. The Golden Eagles have tied in two of their last three contests.
Charleston will play Notre Dame on the road before traveling to Concord Sunday.
Lyndsey Thompson has scored four goals for the Golden Eagles while Alana Mikulis has added three.
