ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer closes out the regular season at home when it welcomes Urbana 1:00 p.m. Saturday.

RECORDS
The Mountain Lions sport a record of 10-7 overall and 8-7 against Mountain East Conference foes. Already in next week's MEC Tournament, Concord can clinch the third seed with a win or tie OR a loss or tie by Shepherd.
Urbana is 3-10-3 overall and 3-9-3 in the MEC.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
Saturday will be the final regular season home game for senior defender
Sarah Akers, senior defender
Carley Graves and senior midfielder
Micharae Thompson.
The trio will be recognized prior to the game versus UU.
Akers has appeared in 54 games with 37 starts during her four-year career at CU. The Beckley, West Virginia native has scored three goals and assisted on five others. Additionally, Akers is a two-time recipient of CoSIDA Academic All-District, carrying a 3.95 GPA as a biology major.
Graves has played in 39 career games with 24 starts. During her three years at Concord, Graves has been on the backline that has allowed one or goal in less 21 of 39 games played.
Despite battling injuries as a freshman and again this season, Thompson has played in 40 games for the Mountain Lions with 34 starts including all 18 last season. The Hurricane, West Virginia native has scored four goals in her career including the game winner versus West Liberty this season at home.
The three seniors will be the first senior class to make the conference postseason since 2012.
Concord has a chance to win its sixth home game of the season which would be the most for a CU team since 2012 when it was victorious seven times at Anderson Field.
CU scored six times in a shutout victory of Urbana earlier this season. It was the most goals for Concord in three seasons.

Sara Bane added a goal off the bench for the Mountain Lions.
Concord's defense limited the Blue Knights to just two shots on goals. Freshman goalkeeper
Katie Maher made both saves as her and fellow freshman goalkeeper
Sydney Harris combined on the shutout.
Hill recorded five points in the contest as she added an assist on Crumblish's goal. Hill's five points were the fifth-most in the MEC this season.
URBANA AT A GLANCE
Urbana shutout West Liberty Wednesday as it moved out of last place in the MEC.
Four different players lead UU with two goals each. Alyssa Garberich is adding four assists to go with her two goals.
Katherine Beech has saved 113 shots this season while tallying a 1.54 goals against average.
