Furr also leads CU in batting average, as she is hitting .433 for the season so far and is one of seven players in the conference hitting over .400.

Lewis, however, is leading the team hitting against league oppositions at .415,

All four of the Kearneysville, W.Va native's home runs have come in MEC games, as well as 24 of her last 37 RBI.

The Berryville, Va. native struck out 11 batters and posted a 2.62 ERA.

The past week marks the second time this season that Herndon has earned the MEC Pitcher of the Week award.

She has also dropped her ERA by 1.2 points since March 25, steadily declining from a 5.02 ERA to 3.82.

Concord has amassed double-digit hits in each of their last four games.
