CHARLESTON, W.Va- The Concord University women's soccer team fell 4-0 on the road to Charleston in MEC women's soccer action on Sunday afternoon. 
 
Concord falls to 3-9-4 while Charleston improves to 11-3-2 on the season. 
 
Charleston used a big first half in order to defeat Concord, scoring four first half goals. The first two goals came early in the game at the 4:12 and 6:26 mark. 
 
The Golden Eagles added a third just after the ten-minute mark before rounding out the rest of the scoring at the 29:54 mark. 
 
The Golden Eagles outshot the Mountain Lions 11-8, with a 6-5 advantage in shots on goal.

Margot Provencher, sophomore forward 
Pilar Elias, freshman midfielder 
Karley Poff, and freshman defender 
Mikayla Akers each had shots on goal for Concord. 
 
Sophomore goalkeeper 
Kaylee Taylor made two saves in goal for the Mountain Lions. 
 
Concord returns to action on October 26
th when it faces Notre Dame College at home. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
