SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Concord University volleyball team fell in four sets to Notre Dame College Friday night in Mountain East Conference play.
The Mountain Lions (10-10, 4-3 MEC) dropped the first two sets and won the third set, but could not force a decisive fifth set as they lost to NDC (12-11, 5-3 MEC).
The Falcons scored the final seven points of game one to earn a 25-22 win and 1-0 lead, and Notre Dame also controlled game two before winning 25-20.

Brooke Heck tallied three of her 16 kills for the match while freshman outside hitter

Alexi Pranckus notched one kill each.
NDC jumped out an early lead in the fourth game, and didn't allow Concord to attempt a comeback.
Heck finished with 16 kills and five blocks on the night while Ellis added nine kills and four blocks (three solo). Pranckus tallied eight kills and 10 digs.

Casey Mandeville had 22 assists while freshman setter
Jenna Mounts added 20 assists.
Concord continues its roadtrip 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Urbana.
