URBANA, Ohio – The Concord University volleyball team lost at Urbana Saturday morning in Mountain East Conference action at the Grimes Center.
After falling behind 1-0 after the first set, Concord (10-11, 4-4 MEC) fought back to win the second set, 25-22. However, UU (11-11, 4-4 MEC) won the final two sets 25-15 and 25-11 to win the match.
In the second set, the Mountain Lions gained an eight-point lead after owning a 12-9 margin. Concord went on a 20-12 run before closing out a 25-22 win. In the spurt for CU was a kill each from freshman outside hitter

Heck finished with a team-high 12 kills while sophomore outside hitter
Alexi Pranckus picked up 11 kills and six digs.
Junior setter
Casey Mandeville notched a double-double for Concord with 28 assists and 10 digs.
The Mountain Lions will host Glenville State 5:00 p.m. Friday.
