MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
Concord now stands at 3-6-3 on the season (3-5-3 MEC) while WJU is 3-8-1 on the year (2-7-1 MEC).

Fairmont State is 2-10-1 (0-10-1 MEC).

Two goals from sophomore forward Pilar Elias helped Concord come from behind to draw Urbana 2-2 at Anderson Field on Friday.

The two goals give Elias three on the season, tying her with freshman forward Megan Walsh for fifth in the Mountain East in goals scored by a player this season.

Concord overcame a two-goal deficit to share the points with Urbana

It was the first time the Mountain Lions have managed to earn a win or draw from a two-goal deficit, coming back from two goals down to defeat Ferrum 3-2 on October 4, 2012.

Sophomore goalkeeper Emily Simpkins has compiled 11 saves over the past two games, which now moves the Linthicum Heights, Maryland native into fourth all-time in career saves for Concord.

Simpkins has made 76 saves through 12 games, an average of 6.3 per game.

The 6.3 saves per game is tops in the Mountain East Conference.

Simpkins has helped lead a Concord defense to giving up just 13 goals through 12 games this season.

CU is on pace to give up 18 goals this season, which is 5 goals lower than the season total it gave up over 18 games last season.

The Maroon and Gray defeated Wheeling Jesuit 2-1 in Athens earlier this season, with the goals being scored by Elias and Walsh.

The Mountain Lions have won the last two meetings against the Cardinals.

Junior midfielder Micharae Thompson provided a goal for the Mountain Lions in the win for CU last season.

In Concord's last three matchups against WJU, the two teams have combined to net 11 total goals.

Walsh scored again against the Fighting Falcons with what proved to be the game winner in the 83rd minute. Senior midfielder Margot Provencher provided the assist.

The Mountain Lions have never lost to Fairmont State in three all-time matchups.

SCOUTING WHEELING JESUIT
The Cardinals are 3-8-1 on the year, but have won two of their last three matchups.

Wheeling Jesuit defeated CU 2-1 in Wheeling last season.

Jenny Soegaard-Andersen has netted five of Wheeling's 12 goals this season.
