Box Score FAYETTEVILE, N.C.- The Concord University Women's Basketball team concluded the MEC-CIAA challenge with a loss to Shaw University by a score of 62-47.
Concord led 20-13 after the first quarter, but Shaw responded in the next three quarters,outscoring the Mountain Lions by 22 over that stretch.
Senior Forward
Kylie Molisee finished the game with 10 points, and 12 rebounds to register her first double-double of the season. Freshman guard
Emily Boothe finished with 10 points, including connecting on two three-pointers. Sophomore guard
Danielle Catron added nine points., while junior guard
Olivia Morgan added six points and eight rebounds. Both Molisee and Catron contributed three assists on the night as well.
Kaula Jacks led the scoring for Shaw with 22 points on 9-for-12 shooting.
Concord opens their home slate when it take on Bluefield State on Wednesday, November 18. Tip off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
