Box Score ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer played to a 1-1 draw with Wheeling Jesuit Saturday afternoon at Anderson Field in Mountain East Conference play.

In the first half, Concord (4-6-4, 2-5-4 MEC) had three shots on goal as Calder, sophomore forward
Emily Cole and freshman back
Sarah Akers all registered shots on goal. However, neither team could net a goal.
In the 80
th minute, the Mountain Lions broke through as Cole scored her fourth goal of the season, giving CU a 1-0 edge.
With just 14 seconds left in regulation, Wheeling Jesuit (1-6-6, 1-5-5 MEC) tied the game off of a corner kick to send the contest to overtime.
In bonus time, Cole and junior forward
Kari Simon both had shots on goal, but could not find the back of the net. Redshirt freshman goalkeeper
Lacie Geisel made five of her nine saves to assure the Mountain Lions would come away with nothing less than a tie.
For the game, Concord held the edge in total shots (18-17) while both teams recorded 10 shots on goal. Concord also held a slim advantage in corner kicks (3-1).
CU will travel to Urbana Tuesday in a critical MEC contest.
