Kyle Stewart

Kyle Stewart is in his second season as the women's soccer assistant coach at Concord.

Mountain Lion head coach Amanda Malkiewicz made Stewart's hiring offical on July 28, 2014.

With Stewart on the women's soccer coaching staff, the Mountain Lions scored 1.65 goals per game in 2014 which was their best goals per game since the 2009 season.
 
"I am so excited to have a hard-working and well experienced coach like Kyle join our staff," Malkiewicz said. "I believe that he will raise the level of this program with his knowledge and background of strength and conditioning as well as his experience playing in college and overseas. This year will bring a new dynamic to the team and we can't wait to get started!" 
 
Stewart brings a wealth of experience as both a player and coach with him to Concord. Most recently, he served as an assistant coach at Columbus State University in 2013 where he helped lead the Cougars to a Peach Belt Conference championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division II Tournament. Additionally, he also coached the CSU men's soccer club team. Stewart was the Valdosta State University men's soccer club team vice president and coach for the 2011-12 season as well.
 
On the youth soccer level, Stewart coached both the CFC Red Star Academy U-10 girls' team and the Columbus Youth Soccer Association's U-14 boys' team in 2013.
 
Stewart holds a U.S. Soccer Foundation (USSF) C coaching license and has been certified to recruit by the NCAA.
 
As a player, Stewart played collegiality from 2009-12 with stops at Middle Georgia State College (2009), Huntingdon College (2010-11), at the University of Sunderland (2012) and for the Valdosta State club team (2011-13).
 
A 2014 graduate of Columbus State in Columbus, Georgia, Stewart continues to work towards his master's in health promotion at Concord, in addition to his coaching duties.
