Neff tossed his fifth complete game of the season Sunday afternoon as he improved to 6-2 on the mound with a victory over West Virginia State. The Fredericksburg, Virginia native struck out seven and allowed just two earned runs. It was his sixth start this season with at least six strikeouts as he upped his season total to 52.
