Hammonds broke three school records at the MEC Indoor Championships. She broke her own school record that was less than a month old in the heptathlon by scoring 2,967 points in the event. In the long and triple jumps, she eclipsed the school records that were set in 2014. Hammonds jumped 5.42 meters in the long jump which was 0.06 meters better than the old mark, and in the triple jump she marked 10.84 which was 0.04 higher than the old record from 11 years ago.
