Irvin clocked a personal-record time in the 5,000-meter run at the Joe LaRocco Invite at Roanoke College over the weekend. Irvin finished fifth in the event with a showing of 15:31.38. Irvin moved up to 20th in the Mountain East Conference in the event. The Summersville, West Virginia native shaved 19 seconds off his previous career-best time in the 5K.
