Altizer broke the indoor school record in the 5,000-meter run at Grand Valley State as she clocked a time of 17:38.65. The existing record was shattered by 46 seconds. Altizer now owns the school record in both the 5,000-meters indoors and outdoors. Her outdoor 5,000-meters is 18:18.88
