Thompson earned all-region for the first time in her career by being named NFCA All-Region Second Team. The Prince George, Virginia native batted .432 during Concord's 38-game season while scoring 42 runs, collecting 13 extra-base hits and driving in 16 runs. Thompson also won eight game in the circle as she amassed 97 strikeouts in 107 innings.
