Smith clocked the third-fastest 400-meter hurdle time in the Mountain East Conference this season by running 1:04.88 in the event. The Memphis, Tennessee native missed the school record by just over one second on Saturday. Additionally, Smith finished 23rd and was the fifth Division II athlete to cross the line.
