Concord University senior outfielder Bret Blevins started his 2014 season off strong with the first five-hit game of collegiate career, spurring the Mountain Lions to doubleheader split with fourth-ranked Mount Olive last weekend. In CU’s 11-10 season-opening victory over the Trojans, he went 5-for-6 with three runs scored, three RBI, a double and one stolen base. Blevins also hit .429 on the week with runners on base.
