Reed averaged 21 points per game, shot 44 percent (12-for-27) from the field and 61.5 percent (8-for-13) from three-point range in a 2-0 start for the Mountain Lions. Reed scored 20 points in a season-opening win over Winston-Salem State then returned to score 20 of his 22 points in the second half against Livingstone. Reed was also 10-for-11 at the free-throw line in two games.
