Concord senior Leanna Watson set a school-record, produced two new personal-best marks and recorded three top-20 finishes in throwing events at the High Point Invitational last weekend. Watson produced a throw of 36.95 meters in the hammer throw to break the CU record, set by Ashley Aber in 2004, and place 14^th overall. Watson also finished 16^th in the shot put via a career-high throw of 10.66 meters in the shot put in addition to placing 19^th in the javelin at 25.19 meters.
