Drennen was one of two Concord athletes to earn First Team All-Mountain East Conference during Saturday's MEC Cross Country Championship. Drennen finished ninth to claim his first All-MEC First Team honor. The Covington, Virginia native ran a time of 27:09 for the 8,000-meter course, and was the second runner in for Concord behind Issac Prather's third-place finish.
