Mission
The sports information department, along with the intercollegiate athletics program, strives not only to enhance the total development of the student-athlete, but to benefit the student body, Concord University, the local community, and alumni, by providing competitive events which build cohesiveness and pride among our constituencies. The sports information department takes pride in promoting and supporting Concord's wonderful student-athletes successes both on field and off.

While passes are not necessary to cover all other Mountain Lion athletics events, the sports information department requests that media notify them of their intention to cover an event at least 24 hours in advance.

Post-game Interviews
Concord coaches and athletes will be available upon request for post game interviews after a 10-minute “cool-down” period. To help avoid any confusion, all post-game interviews will be conducted inside the Carter Center (adjacent from Callaghan Stadium) in the Mountain Lion Room by the Concord University sports information department.

Media personnel will be escorted to the media room by a representative of the Concord University sports information office at the conclusion of the game.

Other Interviews
All interviews with Concord University athletes and coaches should be arranged through the sports information department at least 24 hours in advance of the requested interview date unless it is breaking news.

Arrangements will be made for telephone and in-person interviews at a mutually-agreeable time. Player phone numbers will not be released, and members of the media are asked not to attempt to contact student-athletes or relatives on the telephone, via e-mail or by any other means.

Statistics/Services
Programs, game notes and other pertinent information will be supplied in the press box/press row, at each home event. A complete box score and play-by-play will be available shortly after the completion of each contest.

All home events in baseball, men's and women's basketball, football, men's and women's soccer, softball and volleyball are streamed with live video and live in-game statistics are provided. Additionally, Jason Reed and Steve Cox provide commentary for all men's basketball and football games as well as select women's basketball games.

Visiting Radio
If you wish to have a visiting radio broadcast from a Concord University athletic event, you must notify the sports information department AT LEAST SEVEN DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. Any requests inside the seven-day period will be accommodated, if possible.

Thank you in advance for your courtesy.
