BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Concord University women's cross country team was fourth at the Hokie Invite on the Buford Meredith Cross Country Course Friday night.
CU was led by sophomore
Violet Wall who clocked 17:08 on the 4,400-meter course and finished 15
th. Â Fellow sophomore
Avery Lilly was the next Mountain Lion through as she ran 19:04 and finished 40
th. Then, Concord began to pack up.

Abbey Londeree (19:19), junior
Larah Blevins (19:23), freshman
Maddie Lilly (19:23) and sophomore
Emma Willie (19:25) occupied spots 44-47. The senior trio of
Charlotte McGinnis (20:34),
Piper Doughton (20:46) and
Sara Turner (20:46) came through in 53

th, and 55
th.
The Mountain Lions are back on the course Friday, September 18 as they race at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Alabama.
