ATHENS, W.Va. – Junior infielder Nick DiSanti of the Concord University baseball team has been named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators as it was announced Tuesday afternoon.

DiSanti, a native of Wilmington, North Carolina, makes CSC Academic All-District for a second straight year. As a health science major, DiSanti has a 3.87 GPA in the classroom. In April, he was a finalist for Concord's male scholar-athlete award.

On the field, DiSanti has started 105 consecutive games, and for the second straight year he was named All-Mountain East Conference Honorable Mention at shortstop this spring. DiSanti finished the 2026 season batting .309 with seven extra-base hits (seven doubles, a triple and a home run) to go with 26 RBI. His lone homer came on May 1 against Glenville State—a leadoff shot—in a 4-2 win for the Mountain Lions. Other highlights included a pair of four-RBI games against Frostburg State (March 14) and Davis & Elkins (April 3). He led Concord with 56 hits during the season, and defensively was involved in 21 of 31 of Concord's double plays at shortstop.

To be considered for CSC Academic All-District, student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA and played in 90 percent of games or started 66 percent.

Based on his credentials, both athletically and academically, DiSanti advances to consideration for CSC Academic All-American.
