ELITE COMPANY
Over the weekend, senior infielder Lacie Lewis crushed her 23rd career home run while also hitting two doubles—one each against Charleston and West Virginia State—as she brought her career double total to 40. In the process, she became the fourth player in program history with 40 career doubles and 20 career home runs. The others on the list include Lauren Lewis (2014-17), Alyssa Morris (2012-15) and Jenna Witt (2017-21). Lewis is two home runs shy of tying her sister, Lauren, for third on the all-time home runs list at CU. Additionally, she is tied for third among active Division II players in doubles.

RACK UP THE RUNS
The Mountain Lions scored 10 runs in the first game of a doubleheader sweep against West Virginia State Sunday afternoon. It marked the third time this season that CU has plated 10 or more runs in a game. Last year's Concord offense scored 10 or more runs eight times. Overall in the first four conference games of the year, the Maroon and Gray tallied 17 runs. Senior pitcher/infielder Madison Hollis and Lewis both went 5-for-11 over the weekend. Hollis led the way with a home run and four RBI. Sophomore utility Kristy McCord went 3-for-10 with three RBI while freshman catcher/infielder Hannah Niten collected three hits, including her first career home run and three RBI in four games to open up MEC play.

KEEP DEALIN'
Heading into conference play, sophomore pitcher/outfielder Reghan Hintz earned her second MEC Pitcher of the Week honor. She continued her strong form against Charleston and West Virginia State. Against Charleston, the Melfa, Virginia native finished one strikeout shy of her career high as she piled up eight punchouts. Hintz was better against West Virginia State as she fired 10 shutout innings, three in relief in game one before tossing her first career complete-game shutout. Hintz's shutout streak of 10 straight innings is the longest for a Concord pitcher since the 2023 season. She goes into Wednesday's game ranking third in the MEC in strikeouts (71).

SOLVING GLENVILLE STATE
Concord has lost four of the last five games versus Glenville State. The lone win recently was a 7-3 road win last season. The Mountain Lions scored five runs in the first inning and never looked back. Lewis and junior infielder Kendall Morgan both had two hits in the contest. Senior outfielder Morgan Gleason drove in two runs at the bottom of the order. Hollis was the winning pitcher as she only allowed one earned run. CU split a home doubleheader with the Pioneers in 2024 as it won 4-2. The last 21 meetings have been nearly even with Concord going 9-12 versus the Pioneers.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
Glenville State is one of the most complete teams in the conference as the Pioneers are the only team in the MEC with an ERA below three (2.44) and a team batting average above .300 (.301). Zailees Seda paces GSU with a .467 batting average which is tops in the conference. Delaney Warnick is hitting .370 with two home runs and 19 RBI. Hannah Howe has driven in 16 runs. Kylie Burdick is 8-2 in the circle with 2.04 ERA. Maci Boggess is adding six wins and sports a 2.08 ERA.
