ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University Athletic Department has formally opened up nominations for the 2026 Hall of Fame Class.

Nominations will be open until Sunday, May 17 at 11:59 p.m.

To nominate deserving former athletes, coaches and individuals with meritorious service, use this form or find the link at the top of the page.

The 2026 class will be announced later in the summer with the induction ceremony taking place October 17 during Homecoming Weekend at Concord.

Those individuals that received a necessary number of votes on the 2025 ballot will not need a formal nomination for the 2026 ballot are Bethany Gatewood Callaway, Jonathan Gore, Diane Miller and Pamm Vass Dunford.

To be considered for induction into the Concord Athletics Hall of Fame, past student-athletes must be a college graduate. Additionally, former Concord athletes must be a first team all-conference selection or a school record holder for a specific sports program. Prospective inductees must be five years removed from their final season of eligibility at Concord.

At the conclusion of the nomination window, the Concord Hall of Fame committee, which is made up of current and former Concord coaches, athletic department administrators, CU faculty members and area community members, use a points system via private ballot to consider and vote on worthy candidates for the 2025 Hall of Fame Class.
