ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University men's and women's basketball teams have secured their spots in the upcoming Mountain East Conference Basketball Tournament that starts Wednesday, March 4 at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia.
The CU women will be first to play in the conference tournament when the Mountain Lions face Fairmont State in the quarterfinal round 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Concord is the fourth seed in the MEC Tournament while Fairmont State is the fifth seed.
The Concord men will take to the court as the sixth seed 2:30 p.m. Friday when they face Wheeling.
Tickets for the MEC Tournament can be purchased by
clicking here. An all-sessions pass can be purchased for $85.50 in the reserved seating area. The all-session pass in general admission is $72. Individual session tickets are priced at $18 for reserved seating and $14 for general admission.
