Complete Regional Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS – The Concord University women's basketball team has been listed as one of 10 teams from the Atlantic Region that is under consideration by the NCAA for the national tournament at the end of the regular season and conference tournaments.
The NCAA released its first of three NCAA Regional Rankings which are the official rankings that determine the eight teams from the Atlantic Region that qualify for the NCAA Tournament in less three weeks' time.
The first rankings only list teams in alphabetical order, and they were as follows Charleston, Concord, Edinboro, Fairmont State, Fayetteville State, Gannon, Glenville State, Indiana (Pa.), Seton Hill and Winston-Salem State.
The three conference champions from the Mountain East Conference, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association along with the top five at-large teams will be the teams that qualify for the NCAA Tournament when the field is announced Sunday, March 8.
Wednesday's results across the three conferences were not factored into this week's listings.
CU travels to West Liberty 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
