ATHENS, W.Va. – Due to projected heavy snowfall from an incoming winter storm to southern West Virginia, the Concord University men's and women's basketball doubleheader for Saturday against Glenville State has been moved to Friday evening at the Carter Center.
The women's game will tip off at 5:00 p.m. with the men's game to follow at 7:00 p.m.
The Mountain Lion women are 12-5 overall this season with a conference record of 8-2. GSU enters the Carter Center with the same 8-2 MEC record and a 13-3 mark overall. Both teams are tied with Fairmont State for first place in the MEC standings.
Concord's men's team is 10-6 with an MEC record of 7-3. And Glenville State sports a mark of 10-7 overall and 5-5 versus MEC foes.
