GOALS GALORE
The Mountain Lions opened up MEC play with a pair of wins over West Virginia Wesleyan and Glenville State, scoring four goals in each game. CU received a brace from sophomore midfielder Tiana Campbell in the Wesleyan win which was her fifth career brace and her second against WVWC in three career games. Senior forward Caitlin Webster added her third career brace in a 4-0 win over Glenville State as she scored in each half. Campbell is tied for second in the MEC in goals (three).

KEEPING THEM IN CHECK
Not only did Concord notch its first shutout of the season in the victory over Glenville State, but the Mountain Lions held GSU without a shot in the game as it outshot the Pioneers 19-0. The backline of senior Jessica Neville, sophomore Ella Rowell and freshman Cecelie Skelde locked down the Pioneers. Additionally, Neville assisted on a Concord goal versus GSU while Skelde netted her first career goal. Last season, Concord held D&E without a shot in a 5-0 road win.

GOALS GALORE PART II
Concord has won five straight contests over Davis & Elkins, scoring four or more goals in each win, including a pair of 5-0 wins last season. Campbell notched one of her five career braces against the Senators on the road last fall. Sophomore midfielder Marika Svensson tallied a two-goal contest in CU's home opener versus the Senators in 2025. The Mountain Lions have won seven straight games at D&E with the last loss coming back in 2011.

BREAK THE STREAK
Concord owns a 20-17-3 advantage in 40 all-time meetings versus Charleston. However, the Mountain Lions are seeking to snap a six-game losing streak to UC—that dates back to October 2021. Last year's meeting at Charleston was evenly played with Concord owning a 14-13 edge in shots. Charleston scored four first-half goals before CU pulled within 4-2, which was the final margin. The Maroon and Gray owned a 10-9 shots advantage in last season's game in Athens, a 3-0 Charleston win.

HOLD 'EM DOWN
Coming off the shutout of Glenville State, the Concord defense seeks to stay hot as it faces two offenses still trying to find its form. Charleston has scored three goals in four games while Davis & Elkins has netted a single goal in four games. Both UC and Charleston are aaveraging right around 10 shots per game. Meanwhile, Concord's offense has scored 10 times this fall which ranks fourth in the MEC.

SCOUTING THE SENATORS
Despite only scoring goal on the season, Davis & Elkins has been tough to crack on the defensive end as it has only given up five goals through four games. D&E is tied for third in the MEC in goals allowed this season. Goalkeeper Gabriela Acevedo has made eight saves in net.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES
Charleston has gotten three different goal scorers thus far this year with Jamie Bland and Mya Mills adding an assist each to go with their goals. The Golden Eagles have been outshot 82-42 this year, including 28-19 in two MEC games. UC is coming off a 2-0 loss to local county rival West Virginia State. Like Concord, UC plays its first road game of the season Sunday when it visits Glenville State before hosing the Mountain Lions on Wednesday.
