SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
On Saturday, CU will recognize two seniors as part of its annual senior day. This year's class includes first baseman/outfielder Kassidy Garvey and infielder Courtney Raines. Garvey has played in 113 games in her career with seven home runs and 43 RBIs. She also sports a career .353 on-base percentage and a .407 slugging percentage. This season, Garvey is hitting .388 across 25 games played with 21 starts. The Dumfries, Va. native has tied her career-best single-season home runs mark of three and is slugging .612. Raines, a native of Salem, Virginia, has played in 201 games with 199 career starts. In her four years as a Mountain Lion, Raines is hitting .276 with 11 career home runs with 118 RBIs. Last season, Raines hit .353 and logged 16 doubles to tie for the fourth-most in school history while currently ranking 10th in career hits (163).

NO-HITTER NICHOLSON
In the last game out for the Maroon and Gray, freshman pitcher/utility Mahailey Nicholson etched her name into the Concord record book by tossing the program's first no-hitter against Salem. The Newton, W.Va. native allowed zero hits, three walks, and had eight strikeouts to improve to 6-6 in the circle this spring. After she walked the first batter of the game, Nicholson sat down eight-straight Tigers to fast forward through the third inning. After a pair of 1-2-3 frames in the fourth and fifth, Nicholson worked out of a one-out walk and a two-out hit-by-pitch in the sixth, keeping SU off the board. She completed the no-hit shutout by striking out the side in the seventh to clinch the 4-0 win.

STAYING CONSISTENT
The Mountain Lions run into two different styles of play in WVWC and D&E. The Bobcats sport a 3.92 team ERA with senior Kendall Stoffel ranking fourth in the league (2.35). On the other hand, the Senators rank second in the conference in team batting average (.315) and first in home runs (32). For CU, junior infielder Lacie Lewis has recorded a hit in all six games of Concord's wining streak, adding one home run and six RBIs. Junior pitcher/infielder Madison Hollis also has a hit in CU's last six games while also picking up three wins in in the circle and a save in four appearances. Junior outfielder Alina Giles has notched a base knock in seven out of her last eight games with three multi-hit outings.
