Game 1: Concord 11 – Point Park 4
The Mountain Lions broke the game open in the middle innings and ran away from Point Park in securing a game one win.
PPU got the game's first run on a solo home run in the bottom of the second. However, CU was quick to respond. The first five batters reached base to start the top of the third. Junior outfielder
Dawson Gragg and graduate infielder
Ty Livingston came around to score on a single from sophomore infielder
Nick DiSanti.
After a double from junior infielder
Matthew DiSanti, junior catcher
Kaden Swaim scored both DiSanti brothers on a two-run single to cap a four-run third.
Back-to-back doubles from Gragg and N. DiSanti plated a pair of runs in the fourth, and Concord tallied three more runs in the fifth. Senior infielder
Demetri Jamison sent a home run out to left field, his first of the season, to extend the CU lead to 9-1.
The ample amount of offense was more than enough for graduate pitcher
Coby Ingle (1-0).
After the home run, Ingle retired six of the next eight batters he faced in the game. He tossed six innings as he allowed three runs and struck out a career-high six. CU's defense was solid behind the starter, turning two double plays.
The Mountain Lions tacked on a run in the sixth on an RBI double by junior outfielder
Korbin Bostic, and the final run came in on a Point Park error in the seventh.
N. DiSanti was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI at the top of the lineup. M. DiSanti and Livingston were both 2-for-4 and combined to score three runs. Jamison matched N.DiSanti's RBI output with three on his home run.
Game 2: Point Park 8 – Concord 3

The Maroon and Gray got on the board first as Swaim's sacrifice fly in the top of the first scored N. DiSanti after his leadoff double.
But, Point Park built a 3-1 lead after three innings.
CU attempted to dig into the lead as it loaded the bases in the top of the fourth after walks to Bostic and senior utility

The second run for the Mountain Lions came in the fifth on another sacrifice fly as Bostic plated N. DiSanti. Swaim added his second RBI in the seventh.
