After collecting 20 doubles in their first 13 games of the season, the Mountain Lions struck for nine doubles over a four-game stretch to start Mountain East Conference play Friday and Saturday against Frostburg State and Fairmont State. th double of the season until the 24
th game of the year on March 30. Last year's team went on to hit 83 doubles in 46 games.
FINDING A GROOVE

Zach Powell and sophomore pitcher
Jake Robinson are tied for the MEC lead in wins this season with three each. Powell has won his last three starts. Even though Powell's ERA is 6.04 for the season, his last three starts have produced an ERA of 3.44 (six runs in 15.2 innings). And he hasn't given up more than three runs in his last four starts. Meanwhile, Robinson earned his first win in a start this year after his first two victories came in relief appearances. The Raleigh, North Carolina native racked up seven strikeouts versus Fairmont State—the second most in his career—while tossing six shutout innings. And junior pitcher
Logan Darrow bounced back with three scoreless innings versus Frostburg State Friday to earn his first win at CU.
LAUNCHING PAD
UVa.-Wise's Stallard Field is known as a hitter's park and that was evident last year as Concord tied the program record for single-game home runs with five long balls. Junior outfielder
Dawson Gragg homered last year in CU's 13-5 victory at UVa.-Wise.

Zack Saryeldin also homered in the win. The Mountain Lions piled up 12 runs in an early March win over the Cavaliers at Anderson Field with senior utility
MJ Hunter homering in the home victory. Hunter hit his first home run of the season versus Fairmont State Saturday afternoon. In addition to the five home runs at UVa.-Wise last year, Concord added five doubles with senior infielder
Brendan Brady, Gragg and Jamison each recording a two-base hit.

SCOUTING THE CAVALIERS
UVa.-Wise has already surpassed its win total from last year when it won 12 games. The Cavaliers' last time winning 20 or more games was in 2019 when they collected 26 wins.
