Senior guard
Skylar Davidson knocked down the eventual game-winning shot against Frostburg State Saturday in the Carter Center. She scored Concord's final six points of the game that featured a mid-range jumper to go up 75-73 with 1:02 left, the deep three-pointer with six seconds on the clock to lead 78-75, and going 1-for-2 at the free throw line before the game's final possession. The Mullens, W.Va. native netted a team-high 20 points in the game while also collecting five assists and three steals. On the season, Davidson ranks third on the squad in points scored with under three minutes left in regulation and overtime with 18.

GAME OF RUNS
Davidson connected on a two-point basket to cap off a back-and-forth third quarter that saw CU lead 54-53, but Frostburg State quickly regained control to start the fourth. Trailing by as much as four in the opening minutes of the frame, Concord countered with an 11-2 scoring run to secure a five-point edge, 65-60, with 5:57 left in the game. Junior guard

Alongside the three three-point baskets during the Maroon and Gray's fourth quarter surge, CU hit a season-best 10 three-pointers against the Bobcats in 25 attempts (25 percent) for the game. Davidson got the long-range barrage started with two triples in the first quarter. After only hitting one long-range bucket in both the second and third frames, Concord went 5-for-7 (71.4 percent) from deep in the fourth period. Hickman buried two three-pointers in the fourth and Davidson added the eventual game-winner from beyond the arc. Davidson and Morris both made three three's each, followed by Hickman and Scales with two three-pointers each.

HELPING HAND
The bench has come alive for the Mountain Lions as of recent, having a bench player in double figures scoring in three out of the last five games and scoring at least 16 bench points as a team in five out of the last seven outings. Morris led all bench scorers against FSU, going 4-for-7 from the field and adding three three-pointers for 11 points. On January 25, sophomore guard
Alexis Frazee netted a career-high 26 points off the bench against Glenville State and Morris contributed 16 of CU's 27 bench points at home against Charleston.

CLOSE CALL
Concord rides a nine-game winning streak over Salem heading into Wednesday's contest, dating back to 2008. The first time the Mountain Lions and Tigers battled this season, Morris scored a career-high 29 points on 10-for-17 (58.8 percent) shooting and going 7-for-7 from the free throw line. Four players scored in double figures including Davidson (13), Smith (11), and graduate forward
Trina Lewis (10). Concord held as much as a 27-point lead in the game, but the Tigers made a fourth-quarter comeback that brought the score as close as six. CU eventually closed out the game 81-73 after going 10-10 at the charity stripe over the final 1:20 of play.

Senior forward Liliani Krause leads the SU offense, averaging 16.3 points per game and shooting 50 percent from the field. Krause is coming off a 24-point effort against Glenville State Saturday.
