Dawson Gragg was 3-for-8 in last year's three-game set, including a two-hit game in the series finale. Hunter had four hits against the Eagles with one going for a double in game two. Sophomore outfielder/pitcher
Demario Faison added a two-hit game in the final game of the series last year. Concord is winless in its last eight games versus nationally-ranked teams, dating back to an 11-10 win over then-25
th ranked Charleston at home in 2023.
TAKING AWAY THE STING
Concord won both games over Emory & Henry last season after the Wasps were victorious in both meetings in 2023. At home in early April, the Mountain Lions survived a five-run second by Emory & Henry and walked off in the bottom of the ninth for an 8-7 win. Senior outfielder
Demetri Jamison was 4-for-9 in two games against the Wasps last year. Senior infielder
Brendan Brady and Hunter were also significant contributors. Brady had a three-hit game at home and was the winning pitcher. Meanwhile, Hunter was 3-for-6 at E&H and picked up one of his five saves on the year. Hunter has a pair of three-hit games in his career versus Emory & Henry.
