For the week, Young averaged 19.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, and knocked down 10 three-pointers in two Concord wins.
She got her week started with a record-breaking performance on the road at West Virginia Wesleyan, scoring a career-high 23 points and sinking six three-point buckets. Her six-made three-pointers tied five other Mountain Lions for the most in a single-game in program history. Then, she followed up with 15 points and four-made triples in a home win over Davis & Elkins.
On the season, Young averages 5.8 points per game and leads CU shooting 36.0 percent from long range. Additionally, she has made a team-best 36 three-point baskets this winter. Her contributions for the week pushed Concord's winning streak to five games, its longest since the 2021-22 season.
The Mountain Lions travel to Wheeling for a 5:30 p.m. tip Wednesday.
